Thanks for everything Patti. The Refi went smoothly and I have never worked with someone so on top of things. You have a customer for life.

I just went to a homebuying seminar in Baltimore city offered by Acorn. Several things make me wonder:
1- I found out that if I go to a homebuying seminar in Baltimore on May 14th and sign a contract within 90 days after I could be among 50 people who get $3,000 grant toward closing costs.
Concern: I signed a contract on April 10th, but everything is pending repairs that the seller has to make. Can the signing be invalidated until May 15th? The house has been on the market since June 2007. I have every intention of buying it.

Please tell me what areas in the Middle River area are acceptable to move into besides Hawthorne, pawnee village, king henry’s cirle, middlsex and deerborne. Why not aero acres? Why dont these first time home buyers classes be more specific in the areas you can find a house?

Hi Patti,

I’m a lender in Northern Virginia and have a lot of clients who are looking for grants to couple with FHA loans. I was wondering if you can point me in the direction of finding out how to apply for one of these grants?

Many thanks!

Matt
